Lecture: Postcolonial identities Seen from Europe and Africa
Yolanda Aixela-Cabre is a cultural anthropologist, tenured scientist and vice director of research for the State Agency for Superior Scientific Research in Spain. In this lecture, she will tackle social identity through the lens of postcolonial societies.
Interdepartmental Research Showcase
A showcase of work by interdepartmental graduate students in 24 programs. Verena Paepcke-Hjeltness will lead a workshop on sketchnoting as a way to visually explore one's research interests, followed by an informal poster session. Students can connect with students from other interdepartmental graduate programs. Preregistration is appreciated.

Celebrating 10 years, this brand new live show is known for dramatic effects via lighting and choreography as well as realistic Irish stage sets with authentic Irish instruments. The performances have dramatic solos, compelling ensembles, and comedic acts. Research workshop: Working with IACUC Protocols Using a-tune
The Office for Responsible Research, Office of the Attending Veterinarian and Laboratory Animal Resources are offering software training for researchers who submit IACUC or IBC protocols. Participants will learn how to navigate the new electronic protocol submission system, a-tune. Training topics will include creating and submitting a protocol, and, for animal users of LAR, how to order animals and manage animal records.
