Plant Sale Extravaganza
The Plant Sale Extravaganza will be held in Reiman Gardens' parking lot rain or shine. As a member perk, Reiman Gardens' members can purchase plants before the public on Friday, May 8th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The sale will open to the public on Saturday, May 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This is a 4 week course on Tuesdays beginning May 5, May 12, May 19, and May 26 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. This four-part workshop will cover the basics of macro photography including equipment and how to use it, depth of field, aperture, light, composition, finding your subject and tips and tricks.
Perfume Blending Intensive Workshop

Unified Butterfly Recorder App Tutorial
The Unified Butterfly Recorder (UBR) is a handheld device app that allows butterfly researchers & enthusiasts to efficiently record butterfly sighting data. Join the entomology staff to learn more about the app, which automatically collects weather, location, & timestamps of sightings by selecting a butterfly from an editable list of species.

Nanovaccine Initiative Webinar
"Understanding the Interplay between Population-level Vaccinating Behavior and Disease Dynamics during Childhood Vaccination Scares," Chris Bauch, University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Via webinar, Bauch will discuss "disease-behavior" models his lab developed to study vaccine scares and similar behavioral phenomenon using various mathematical tools, such as dynamical systems, network simulations and model selection approaches.

This is a 4 week course on Wednesdays beginning May 6, May 13, May 20, and May 27 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Go in-depth with professional photographer and instructor Mark Stoltenberg, to understand just what exposure is and how adjusting it will alter your photographs, for a variety of desired effects. Learn to master manual control of the lightness and the darkness of an image, even when your camera suggests something different.

Pysanky (Ukrainian Egg Dyeing) Workshop
This is a 3 week course on Saturdays beginning May 16, May 23, and June 6 - NO CLASS ON MAY 30 - from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Explore this traditional Ukrainian and Polish craft with artist Megan Henson. With a method similar to batik, you will draw patterns on real eggs with wax, protecting the covered areas from the dye that is applied.
