Family Movies in the Gardens
Two showings at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Looking for a warm, cozy place to entertain the kids for a few hours? Every Saturday in January, Reiman Gardens will offer movies for children at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Iowa State Leadership Experience
The Iowa State Leadership Experience is an annual leadership conference sponsored by the Student Activities Center, the Department of Residence, and the Inter Residence Hall Association. This event is intended to help new and existing leaders on campus improve their leadership skills, learn about leadership opportunities at Iowa State, and network with other leaders from across campus.

Artwork Drop-off for Art Inspired Student Juried Exhibit
ISU Students are invited to submit artwork for consideration for the Art Inspired Exhibit. Students of any major can drop off up to 3 artworks in any media. Chosen artwork will be on display in the Pioneer Room February 2-March 19.
Research Workshop: Finding Funding Opportunities
"Using Campus Resources to Find Funding Opportunities." In this hands-on training you will learn how to strategically use websites and proprietary databases to identify and connect with funding opportunities and to set up saved searches, shared opportunities, and receive funding alert emails.

Workshop: The Pedagogy of Canvas Quizzes

The Wizard of Oz
This all new production is an enchanting adaptation of the all-time classic-- totally reconceived for the stage--contains all the beloved songs, favorite characters and iconic moments from the Oscar-winning movie score. There are also a few surprises along the way, including new songs by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Workshop: Assignments and Gradebook in Canvas
Assignments are a backbone of the course's Gradebook in Canvas. Participants will learn to create and manage Assignments and Assignment Groups as well as explore how the Gradebook is connected to the organization of Assignments. Participants will experience the power of SpeedGrader for efficient and effective grading.
Research Workshop: Submission software training
The Office for Responsible Research will transition to a new electronic system for submission, review, and maintenance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) applications. The a-tune tick@lab system will go live in early 2018, integrating research, teaching and testing protocols, animal procurement and management, as well as veterinary medical records.
