Research Workshop: Submission software training
The Office for Responsible Research will transition to a new electronic system for submission, review, and maintenance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) applications. The a-tune tick@lab system will go live in early 2018, integrating research, teaching and testing protocols, animal procurement and management, as well as veterinary medical records.
Retirement reception: Peggy Deaton
Peggy Deaton, a custodian with facilities planning and management, is retiring April 6. A program will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Since its opening, Oklahoma! has been performed every day somewhere in the world for the past 74 years.

Shattered Glass is a 16 member conductor-less string orchestra based in New York City and very much a product of the 21st century. Virtuosic and versatile, Shattered Glass balances vibrant excitement with a meticulous respect for piece, composer, and tradition. With a repertoire that ranges from Bach, Britten and Bartok to Schoenberg and Stravinsky, Shattered Glass has been active in crossover collaborations with pop and hip-hop artists!

Stash The Trash
Stash the Trash is a volunteer effort that brings students and community members together to help clean up the Ames community and assist homeowners with yard work. The event is organized by the ISU Student Activities Center and the Volunteer Center of Story County. Volunteers can choose to work alone, with a group of people, or with an organization. Workshop: Supporting and Managing Staff

Workshop: Human Subjects Research Using IRBManager
Learn how to work with the new IRBManager system. Sessions are most useful for anyone who performs research with human subjects or who needs to sign off on IRB applications. Participants will learn how to submit IRB applications and access study information in the new system.

Internationally renowned American architect and urbanist Teddy Cruz, a professor of public culture and urbanization at the University of California, San Diego, and a principal of Estudio Teddy Cruz + Fonna Forman, will share his many initiatives related to the Tijuana/San Diego border and prior collaboration with the mayor of Bogota, Colombia.
