The Making of Campus Art
An internship sponsored by the Department of Residence allowed Evan Harrison, Senior in Architecture, the opportunity to travel to New York City and work in the studio of internationally acclaimed artist Mickalene Thomas on the recently installed Geoffroy Residence Hall mural. Evan will share about his internship experience through pictures, stories, and revealing what it takes to make campus public art. Two sessions are available, 7pm and 8pm.
Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival Comedy Troupe
Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival is Iowa State University's student comedy, improv group. Holding shows on some Wednesday nights, you can come and laugh to your hearts content at the Mojos, and with the Mojos.

Pumpkin Carving
Monday through Friday, October 16-20 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Join Reiman Gardens anytime Monday through Friday for a spooky good time and help us carve pumpkins. The 650 pumpkins will then go on display as lit jack-o-lanterns for our Jack-O-Lantern Walk, a part of our Spirits in the Gardens event, on Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22.

The Hillside Water-wise Garden is the only one of its kind in Iowa for its unique planting method and style. It is a visually stunning garden with a spectacular stone staircase flanked by custom built railings, ADA compliant path, different planting themes and limestone borders. Tours follow the ribbon-cutting event.

Learn to both hand-carve and mold forms that will be cast in brass. Final pieces can be pendants, pins or miniatures.

Concert: Flutist Anthony Trionfo
Praised for his "spellbinding" performances with "authoritative intellect" by the Santa Barbara Voice after his performance of the Jolivet Concerto with the Music Academy of the West Festival Orchestra, young flutist Anthony Trionfo will make his recital debuts on the Young Concert Artists Series at the Kennedy Center as well as in New York City's Merkin Concert Hall in Spring 2018.

Formerly known by her stage name Amanda Diva, Amanda Seales is a comedian, actress, DJ, recording artist and radio personality. Aside from her solo career, she was also a touring member of the musical group Floetry.
