Exhibit opening: Fresh Fotos
Fresh Fotos will give twelve first year students the opportunity to document your first year experience at ISU. Photos will be posted on the Student Activities Center website and updated periodically so that others (students, faculty, staff, friends, and potential ISU students) can share in your journey. 2012-2013 is the fifth year of this inventive program!
Workshop: Bridge Design
Join a team of ISU Architecture graduate students for another workshop great for groups and families of all ages! Using LEGO® bricks and other materials, participants will learn about the elements of bridge design, then work together to construct bridges intended to cross a gap and hold weight. Great for ages 8 to 88!

Workshop: Theme Gardens
Instructor: Lisa Orgler, Department of Horticulture, Iowa State University This workshop will show you how to add that extra spark to your landscape by designing a garden about anything and more importantly, about you. Warning: you will not be designing traditional themes like butterfly and moon gardens (though those are nice), but rather stretching the theme idea to a new level. Bring your creative spirit and an open mind.
