Research workshop: Human Research Basics -- Informed Consent
This is the third part of a four-part series that looks more closely at the components of the IRB submission process. In this session, participants will learn about the informed consent process, including participant recruitment and the informed consent document. Discussion will center around what's required of you as the researcher, and best practices for designing and administering consent.

CeCe Moore is an investigative genetic genealogist and media consultant. She has worked as the genetic genealogist for the PBS Television documentary series Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr., since 2013. She recently joined forces with Parabon Nanolabs to lead their new Genetic Genealogy Services for law enforcement unit.
