Open house: ISU Dairy Farm
A celebration of dairy month. Tours will be given every 30 minutes beginning at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 10:30 a.m. Stops include the milking parlor, milk house and dairy barns. The open house includes demonstrations and best practices in animal care, product quality, safety and environmental stewardship.
Symposium: Science Communication
Learn how trust and credibility play a role in communicating controversial science topics at the three-day Science Communication Summer Symposium. This symposium builds on Iowa State's expertise in science communication by bringing together local and national scholars to explore the intersection of scientific credibility and public acceptance of scientific claims.
Water Day
A special kid-focused event about all things water! Play with water at the Spitting Frogs in the Children's Garden, slither down a giant slip-and-slide, explore special activities on water pollution and conservation, groove to fun songs, and create mini-projects throughout the Gardens.
