Research Workshop: Submission software training
The Office for Responsible Research will transition to a new electronic system for submission, review, and maintenance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) applications. The a-tune tick@lab system will go live in early 2018, integrating research, teaching and testing protocols, animal procurement and management, as well as veterinary medical records.

This workshop offered by the American Association for the Advancement of Science addresses the needs of scientists and engineers to communicate scientific or technical information in a variety of public and professional interactions, such as media interviews, writing grant proposals, discussing ideas with students, testifying before Congress, or participating in public forums.
Workshop: The Pedagogy of Canvas Quizzes
Participants will learn how to use Quizzes in Canvas. The workshop will focus on practical ways to customize Quiz Settings as well as create and administer Quizzes with a variety of question types to accommodate specific learning situations. Quiz Moderation and Analytics will be also explored.

"Testing Your Website for Accessibility." To ensure all the content in your website is accessible to as many users as possible, you should test using both automatic tools and manual testing. In this workshop, we'll take you through a three-step accessibility testing protocol that includes a testing tool and manual testing with the tab key and a screen reader.
