Offices are closed and classes are recessed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
Memorial Day ceremony
Iowa State employees, retirees, spouses, alumni and friends who died during the past year will be remembered at the university's annual Memorial Day ceremony. The ceremony will include a time for family, friends and colleagues to share memories of love ones.

Carillon Summer Concert Series
Carillon concert with guest carillonneur Linda Dzuris, Clemson University, South Carolina. Campanile tours are available after each concert. Bring lawn chairs or blankets, and enjoy a summer evening on central campus with friends and family.

IRB Manager End User Training
Attendees will learn how to navigate the electronic IRB records system and how to submit IRB protocols for review.
Research Workshop: Submission software training
The Office for Responsible Research will transition to a new electronic system for submission, review, and maintenance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) applications. The a-tune tick@lab system will go live in early 2018, integrating research, teaching and testing protocols, animal procurement and management, as well as veterinary medical records.
Retirement reception: John Newton
John Newton, superintendent of Veenker Memorial Golf Course, will retire from the university June 1. A program at the May 30 reception will begin at 3:30 p.m.
