Open forum: CELT director candidate
Ann Marie VanDerZanden is a professor of horticulture and associate director of CELT who currently is serving as interim director. She is one of two finalists in the internal search for a director of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching and co-director of ISU's learning communities program.

Retirement open house: Jan Stoehr, Richard Poist
Jenison (Jan) Stoehr is the secretary in the supply chain and information systems department and has worked at the university since 1983. Richard Poist is a professor of supply chain management and has worked at Iowa State since 1991. A brief program will begin at 2:45 p.m.

Meteorology: Undergraduate research symposium
Meteorology seniors will present their research symposiums. This year, 18 seniors are completing their undergraduate thesis and making public presentations of their research results.

Brown Bag Seminar: STEM Education
Michael Clough, ISU curriculum and instruction, will give a 30-minute presentation, "The Story Behind the Science: Bringing Science and Scientists to Life in Postsecondary Science Education," followed by 30 minutes of discussion and networking.
