ISU ADVANCE workshop : Portfolio Development for Associate to Full Professor
ISU ADVANCE is offering a wonderful opportunity for associate professors that are planning on going up for full professor immediately or in the near future. Four individuals, David Acker, Joe Colletti, Susan Lamont, and Elisabeth Lonergan, from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences are presenting the workshop.
Workshop: Engaging Persons with Disabilities - Research Efforts and Opportunities (Part 2)
Persons with disabilities are severely underrepresented in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields of study. This group consists of an entire population of lifelong problem solvers. Engaging them in the STEM educational pipeline and the STEM workforce can be a very rewarding endeavor. Engagement can occur via the research enterprise as well as through outreach and other educational programs.

Getting Started with EndNote Web
Attendees will learn all the basics for getting started with EndNote Web, free cloud-based software that helps you collect, organize, format, and use your collected citations in your papers and other writing projects. Identifying what students don't understand when they are learning biology can help improve student learning experiences in the classroom. Concept assessments, due to their rigorous development process, can be useful in diagnosing student difficulties and leveraging change.
