Workshop: Research with Human Subjects
"Navigating Your Research with Human Subjects: The IRB Submission Process." In this session, you will learn tips on developing and submitting protocols to the Institutional Review Board (IRB). An IRB staff member will walk through key sections of the non-exempt IRB application and explain what the IRB looks for during the review process. Seminar: Student engagement strategies and question types with Top Hat
This is the first session in a three-event series to kick start a faculty community around teaching and learning with Top Hat, an interactive teaching platform recently standardized at Iowa State University. Each of the three events is co-led by a faculty representative to discuss a significant teaching and learning issue associated with using Top Hat, typically in large enrollment undergraduate courses.

If you create or edit any content that may end up in digital form and shared through a digital network (aka the web), this session is for you. We will work on making the most frequently created types of documents accessible to all users.
