Latino Heritage Month Button Making
Celebrate the long and important presence of Hispanic and Latino Americans in north America during Latino Heritage Month stop by during open hours September 23 - October 13 to make a button or magnet. Designs feature inspirational quotes and iconic images that celebrate achievements by Latino Americans.
Fall CEO Pitch Competition
Up to 30 ISU student entries may participate in the Fall CEO Pitch Competition hosted by the Entrepreneurship Innovation Learning Community and the ISU Entrepreneur Club. Participants may pitch any concept, new business idea, new product, new application, or new technology.
Creativity and Chance Workshop
Explore the art exhibit in the Pioneer Room guided by the artist, see a TED talk and create some artwork on your own! From artists, writers and performers to anyone that want to be more inventive in their everyday problem solving, this will be a fun and informative way to light your creative spark.
Cyclone Cinema: Despicable Me 2
The Student Union Board presents Cyclone Cinema! This week we will be showing Despicable Me 2! Showings are FREE in Carver 101 at 7 and 10 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hope to see you there!
Jim Suhler (Blues Rock)
Texas-based blues guitarist Jim Suhler has been playing professionally since the 1980's. Well known as the lead guitarist for George Thorogood and The Destroyers, Suhler has often been included in "Top Ten Guitarists" lists of numerous music publications and has performed with notable music icons including Johnny Winter, AC/DC, Buddy Whittington, Billy F. Gibsons, Joe Bonamassa, Elvin Bishop, and Buddy Guy to name a few.
