History professor Gregory Aldrete leads the Linothorax Project, an ongoing effort to reconstruct and study a widely used a type of ancient body armor created by laminating together layers of linen.
Paint Your Own Pottery: Skulls
Join us for a fun exploration of techniques in "painting" bisque. Choose a decorative skull or a skull mug or box. Decorate for Halloween or Day of the Dead. We will have samples for inspiration but your own ideas are always welcome too. Studio fee is $4 for ISU and $5 for public to attend plus the cost of the bisque you select.
