Plein Air Painting in the Gardens
Join artist and illustrator Kelsey Wilson for an afternoon of painting in the gardens in the French tradition of plein air, or to paint in the fresh air.
Argentine Tango Drop-In Lessons
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. Classes meet every Sunday and drop-ins are welcome. Purchase a dance punch card and attend as often as your schedule allows. Open to ages 18+.

A five-session course (no class May 30). Practice yoga outdoors with Ames Parks and Recreation instructor Stephanie Yocca. Classes will focus on breath and movement, resulting in a flowing and mindful practice that stretches and strengthens to bring balance to body and mind.

This two-day symposium, funded by a grant from the ISU Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities, will bring together leading thinkers from around the world who are working on questions of the histories and legacies of the built environments of global socialism. Special Olympics Iowa summer games
More than 3,000 athletes participate in Special Olympics Iowa's largest annual event. Competition includes aquatics, athletics (track & field), bocce, cycling, developmental events, soccer and tennis. Athletes also enjoy Opening Ceremonies at Hilton Coliseum, a Celebration Dance, and activities and entertainment at the Olympic Festival.
