National Public Gardens Day
We will kick off the event with free admission and a seedling giveaway in honor of National Public Gardens Day. Reiman Gardens is proud to join public gardens across the country to celebrate National Public Gardens Day annually on the Friday before Mother's Day. Art Mart
Featured items include blown glass, pottery, jewelry, accessories, hdyed scarves, photography and more. Most artwork sells between $3 and $20 and sales support The Gaffer's Guild, The Workspace and participating artists.
Nanovaccine Initiative Seminar
"Endothelin Axis and Pancreatic Tumor Microenvironment," Maneesh Jain, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha. Jain will discuss how the components of endothelin axis are expressed in various cellular compartments of pancreatic tumor microenvironment (TME), and the impact of targeting endothelin axis on pancreatic TME in genetically engineered animal models. A reception precedes the seminar at 12:40 p.m.

As a member perk, Reiman Gardens' members can purchase plants before the public on Friday, May 8th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The sale will open to the public on Saturday, May 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

University Museums Graduation Open Houses
Take advantage of this special opportunity to bring your family and friends to visit your favorite University Museums! The Brunnier Art Museum, Christian Petersen Art Museum, and Farm House Museum will be open for a special weekend open house. We welcome the community to view the Ellen Wagener exhibition in the Brunnier Art Museum, the Dan Corson exhibition in the Christian Petersen Art Museum, and the renovations of the Farm House Museum.

Walk across the parking lot to the Alumni Center immediately following commencement to enjoy a reception for graduates and their families and friends. The reception will include refreshments, photo opportunities, tours of the Alumni Center and gift merchandise for purchase.

Macro 1 Photography Class
This is a 4 week course on Tuesdays beginning May 5, May 12, May 19, and May 26 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. This four-part workshop will cover the basics of macro photography including equipment and how to use it, depth of field, aperture, light, composition, finding your subject and tips and tricks.
Perfume Blending Intensive Workshop
This is a 6 week course on Tuesdays April 7, April 14, April 21, April 28, May 5, and May 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Those who complete this 6-week intensive workshop will come away with their own uniquely developed fragrance, 1 kit of 10 essences, and a Certificate of Perfume Blending from Amanda Feeley, natural perfumer and owner of Esscentual Alchemy.
