Audit full semester course
Last day to elect to audit a course for spring. The instructor of the course must approve an audit.
Pass/Not Pass changes
Last day to change a full-semester or first half-semester course from Pass/Not Pass to grade basis without it counting toward total allowable P/NP credits used for graduation.
Tuition and Fee Adjustment
Last day to receive a tuition and fee adjustment for full-semester courses when dropping below full-time status. No refunds for full-semester courses after day 10 of the semester.

Over the past 20 years, nearly a quarter-million public housing units have been demolished in cities across the United States. Some are rebuilt as part of mixed-income, mixed-finance developments, but most are permanently lost. Edward G. Goetz, director of the University of Minnesota Center for Urban and Regional Planning, will describe the scope and nature of the effort and implications for public-housing residents and inner-city neighborhoods.

STEM Education Seminar
"Factors that Influence 6th-12th Grade Girls' Interest and Confidence in Science and Mathematics," Carol Heaverlo, outreach program coordinator, ISU Program for Women in Science and Engineering. The presentation will feature the results of a comprehensive assessment of the Taking the Road Less Traveled Career Conference (TRLT) and share what we have learned about the factors that influence 6th-12th grade girls' interest and confidence in STEM.
Afternoon Wheel Pottery with Alice McGary
For beginning level pottery students - those with little or no experience in working with clay. Students will be guided through all aspects of forming bowls, mugs, vases and more on the pottery wheel. Learn hand-pulling, glazing and finishing techniques.
Lecture: Ugandan Children of War
Photographer Mary Chind and Dr. Neil Mandsager will discuss their visit to Uganda with ChildVoice International. The organization works to rehabilitate children traumatized by war, including former child soldiers, children orphaned by war, and those left destitute by rebel activity. The talk accompanies the Mary Chind's photography exhibit, Silent No More: Ugandan Children of War.

Someone Had to Make Them: Why Not Me?
Esther Shimazu is a ceramic artist from Honolulu, Hawaii, who is best known for stoneware sculptures of bald, nude, chunky Asian women constructed with hand-building techniques. While often playful in appearance, the work also explores deeper issues of race, gender and beauty.
