Learning Community: Game Based Learning
These interactive discussions will examine how game based learning may guide our students' learning processes and enhance your curriculum. We will also explore how gamification is changing society, and its impact on education. Stop by The Workspace and design a button or magnet with your message of peace, or choose from one of our "create peace" designs. Buttons and magnets are 50 cents each and proceeds will be used toward supplies for our Little Dresses for Africa project.

"Tropical Arrangements." Add some aromatic color and passion to the dull skies of fall with a lively design incorporating beautiful tropical flowers. Learn the tips and skills used by professionals and create your own one-of-a-kind floral designs.
Wheel Pottery Class
Students will be guided through all aspects of forming bowls, mugs, vases and more on the pottery wheel. Learn hand-pulling, glazing and finishing techniques. Open to absolute beginners as well as those with experience who would like to improve their technique and abilities.
Concert: SKATERS
SKATERS formed in NYC in 2012 after spending a year trading demos back and forth from members living in Los Angeles to one in London. They met in the middle to record an EP in a Manhattan loft, and never left the city. The result is a smart, dynamic punk record drawing inspiration from obscure genres and cultures.
