Broadway's musical comedy "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" has charmed audiences across the country with its wit and humor. This Tony Award-winner captures middle school anxiety and puts it to song and dance. You will be tickled as adults play middle schoolers and audience members are invited to participate. This is an ACTORS Inc. community theater production.

Instructional support staff from across campus will facilitate each 30-minute byte. These 30-minutes builds on concepts covered in the Canvas Mini-Bytes training videos on the CELT instructional strategies pages.

Webinar, Black women & belongingness: An interrogation of STEM education as a white, patriarchal space
This interactive research presentation engages audience members with empirical data to deconstruct ideas of Black women's belongingness in STEM education as a white, patriarchal space. Statistics from recent National Science Foundation reports of advanced degrees in mathematical sciences are used along with Black women's narratives of experience in STEM majors as well as perceptions of instruction in introductory courses.

This topic-based teaching and learning community meets throughout the academic year. We work as teams to optimize application exercises, readiness assurance tests, peer evaluation, and other aspects of course design, and also invite speakers to facilitate discussions of TBL theory, research and classroom application.
