Poetry reading: Ginsberg's "Howl"
The first public performance of Allen Ginsberg's "Howl" happened at Six Gallery in San Francisco in 1955. Artist Manuel Neri helped to coordinate the historic event. In celebration of National Poetry Month, enjoy a reading of this legendary poem by local poets while surrounded by the art of Neri, an influential Bay area figurative sculptor.

Research Workshop: Submission software training
The Office for Responsible Research will transition to a new electronic system for submission, review, and maintenance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) applications. The a-tune tick@lab system will go live in early 2018, integrating research, teaching and testing protocols, animal procurement and management, as well as veterinary medical records.
Retirement reception: Peggy Deaton
Peggy Deaton, a custodian with facilities planning and management, is retiring April 6. A program will begin at 10:30 a.m.
