Graduate College: last day to submit signed Thesis/Dissertation Submission Form for electronic thesis or dissertation.
Third annual Undergraduate Research Symposium
Organized by the University Honors Program, the symposium is open to all ISU undergraduates in all academic disciplines. Student presentations will be in breakout rooms with the day's schedule posted in the Pioneer Room.

CESMEE seminar
The Center for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Education and the ISU ADVANCE lectureship program host Maureen Scharberg, San Jose University, at its next seminar. Scharberg will discuss, "Working toward improving STEM student success: One STEP at a time."
Symposium: BIGMAP
"Food and Fuel Crops: Issues, Policies and Regulation," is the focus of the 6th annual symposium of ISU's Biosafety Institute for Genetically Modified Agricultural Products. Prabhu Pingali, deputy director of ag development for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, will give the April 22 lunch address.

Meeting: Faculty Senate
The Faculty Senate represents the general faculty of Iowa State University and participates in shared governance of the University with the administration. Senate meetings are open to the public and adjourn at 5 p.m.

"Asian Americans: Coming Out, Hitting the Road, Running for Office," ISU Asian American Studies professors Jane Dusselier and Eugenio Matibag; ISU students Sharlene Taylor-Brown and Priya Shah; and Des Moines Area High school students Naipong Vangand Tao Pham; facilitated by Vijay Kanagala, doctoral student in educational leadership and policy studies.
Lecture: Confessions of the Guerrilla Girls
"Confessions of the Guerilla Girls." The Guerrilla Girls are a group of anonymous women activists fighting for gender and racial equality within the arts. They are a group of anonymous females who take the names of dead women artists as pseudonyms and appear in public wearing gorilla masks.
