Music: Keyboard Day
The keyboard faculty of Iowa State University cordially invite keyboard students in grades 9-12, teachers, and parents to come for a day of activities involving the piano, organ, harpsichord and carillon.
Leadership in Engineering Networking Symposium
LENS is an opportunity for students to learn and practice leadership skills. It includes workshops by professionals in targeted areas of expertise, roundtable discussions, and an opportunity for groups to showcase their current work to other students. A free lunch will be served. Register online.
Reiman Gardens: Spring Fling
Family activities, including egg hunts, crafts, and live rabbits for petting. Registration encouraged for egg hunts (1:30 p.m. for ages 4 and younger; 2 p.m. for ages 5-10).
Research presentations
Oral research presentations by AESHM department faculty, including: "Re-examination of Herzberg's Two-factor Theory of Motivation in the Korean Army Foodservice Operation," Sungmin Hyun and Haemoon Oh; and "The Role of Sewing in Women's Lives," Jean Parsons and Sara Marcketti.
