Graduate College: thesis/dissertation deadline
Graduate College: last day to submit final electronic thesis/dissertation copy for Thesis Office review.
P&S Open Forum: Open dialogue on budget challenges
Budget challenges are the focus of this open forum. A panel of P&S Council officers and committee chairs will field questions from employees. Results from the October survey regarding the budget reversion also will be presented. Resources on current budget information, the strategic planning process and human resources services also will be highlighted. All are welcome; feel free to bring your lunch.
Open House: Metabolomics Research Facility
This open house is a part of the Office of Biotechnology's 25th anniversary celebration. Faculty, staff and students are invited to tour and learn more about the research facilities at ISU.
Honors Program: Fall poster presentation and reception
This event features Honors projects and Fall 2009 Honors graduates. These students and other Honors students will answer questions and talk with individuals interested in their projects.

All are welcome to a forum for local artists interested in sharing their works of art -- finished and unfinished, traditional and non-traditional media -- with other artists and the larger Ames community. Consider Artist's Showcase an open-mic night for visual artists.
Lecture: The future of food
"Tomorrow's Table: Organic Farming, Genetics & the Future of Food," authors Pamela Ronald and Raoul Adamchak. Their book discusses the potential combination of biotechnology and sustainable farming methods.
