Workshop: The Pedagogy of Canvas Quizzes
Participants will learn how to use Quizzes in Canvas. The workshop will focus on practical ways to customize Quiz Settings as well as create and administer Quizzes with a variety of question types to accommodate specific learning situations. Quiz Moderation and Analytics will be also explored.
Art + Issues: Building a Campus Community
The University Museums exist to celebrate the diversity of our cultural heritage and through art teach critical thinking and generate dialogue that helps to build an inclusive campus community. Assignments are a backbone of the course's Gradebook in Canvas. Participants will learn to create and manage Assignments and Assignment Groups as well as explore how the Gradebook is connected to the organization of Assignments. Participants will experience the power of SpeedGrader for efficient and effective grading.

Research Workshop: Submission software training
The Office for Responsible Research will transition to a new electronic system for submission, review, and maintenance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) applications. The a-tune tick@lab system will go live in early 2018, integrating research, teaching and testing protocols, animal procurement and management, as well as veterinary medical records.
Training: Digital Accessibility
"Testing Your Website for Accessibility." To ensure all the content in your website is accessible to as many users as possible, you should test using both automatic tools and manual testing. In this workshop, we'll take you through a three-step accessibility test method that includes a testing tool and manual testing with the tab key and a screen reader.
