Workshop: Change management
"Navigating Waves of Change." This program is designed to explain the evolution and importance of change management. Participants will be given tips on how to handle change, as well as adjust their attitudes toward the inevitable twists and turns of daily life.
Workshop: Assignments and Gradebook in Canvas
Assignments are a backbone of the course's Gradebook in Canvas. Participants will learn to create and manage Assignments and Assignment Groups as well as explore how the Gradebook is connected to the organization of Assignments. Participants will experience the power of SpeedGrader for efficient and effective grading.
Workshop: What I Wish I Had Said: Basic Bystander Intervention Skills
Have you found yourself in situation where communication is breaking down and you're not sure how to intervene? Do you know how each person contributes to the situation, and how we ourselves can own who we are? What skills can you draw upon to fight personal paralysis during conflict?
Research Workshop: Submission software training
The Office for Responsible Research will transition to a new electronic system for submission, review, and maintenance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) applications. The a-tune tick@lab system will go live in early 2018, integrating research, teaching and testing protocols, animal procurement and management, as well as veterinary medical records.
Workshop: Sponsor-Specific Proposal Development
In this session you will learn about NIH-specific requirements including modular budgets, budget, and personnel justifications. Attendees will learn tips, tricks and common issues with proposal development.
