Build Your Canvas Course - Course Design Basics
This two-hour interactive, hands-on workshop is open to all Iowa State University instructors and instructional designers to explore the basics of course building in Canvas.
Open forum: CALS dean finalist
Daniel Robison, dean of the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, and professor of forest resources management at West Virginia University, Morgantown, is the first of three finalists selected in the search for the next endowed dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and director of the Iowa Agricultural and Home Economics Experiment Station.
Can agronomists close the yield gap - by Jerry Hatfield
Dr. Hatfield received his Ph.D. from Iowa State University in the area of Agricultural Climatology and Statistics a M.S. in Agronomy from the University of Kentucky, and B.S. from Kansas State University in Agronomy. He served on the faculty of the University of California-Davis and then joined USDA-Agricultural Research Service in Lubbock, Texas. In 1989 he was named director of what is now the Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment.

Brief remarks by the artist, who received a BArch in Architecture from ISU in 2009, and University Museums Assistant Curator Adrienne Gennett will begin at 5:15 pm. Light refreshments.
