1 Million Cups meeting
The Des Moines chapter of 1 Million Cups, the national Wednesday morning networking session for entrepreneurs, is meeting on campus. Two Ames entrepreneurs will present: Ian Tevis, SAFI-Tech; and Kevin Maher, VetMeasure. All are welcome at this free event; the coffee is free as well.

It can be overwhelming, especially when the stakes seem so high and the path forward is as clear as mud. Let's take a look at the most common myths about accessibility to debunk them as well as strategize how best to address them.

Research workshop: Working with IACUC Protocols Using a-tune
The Office for Responsible Research, Office of the Attending Veterinarian and Laboratory Animal Resources are offering software training for researchers who submit IACUC or IBC protocols. Participants will learn how to navigate the new electronic protocol submission system, a-tune. Training topics will include creating and submitting a protocol, and, for animal users of LAR, how to order animals and manage animal records.
