Raj Raman, Morrill Professor, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, reflects on the parallels between student motivation, which is well recognized as crucial for student success, and instructor motivation (and bandwidth). This event was rescheduled from its original date of Jan. 31, 2019.
Faculty workshop: Preparing for a Successful P&T Review
Associate provost Dawn Bratsch-Prince and vice president for research Sarah Nusser will lead a presentation for new tenure-eligible faculty on what makes a successful promotion and tenure case. Register by March 5.
Panel: Open Education Resources (OER) Trailblazers Share their Stories
Join us for a panel discussion on the impact of OER in the classroom. Miller Open Education Mini-Grant recipients will share the benefits and challenges of making the switch to OER and why they chose to apply for the grant. Participants will leave the workshop with plans for incorporating OER into their courses and a pathway to making their classes more affordable.
