However, the way these incidents show up between and among faculty, administrators, and students is often very different from how they display in other areas of campus. This topic-based teaching and learning community meets throughout the academic year. We work as teams to optimize application exercises, readiness assurance tests, peer evaluation, and other aspects of course design, and also invite speakers to facilitate discussions of TBL theory, research and classroom application.

We all have unique qualities that make us, us. Upon self-reflection, those elements that shape our identity can shape how we perceive those round us, either consciously or subconsciously. Our subconscious perceptions of others and how we react to them are often referred to as implicit bias, which can be both positive and negative.
