Discuss Published Education Research in Your Discipline (DBER Journal Club) Sept
How do students learn best in your discipline? Where can you publish the way you solved instructional problems? You are invited to share and discuss DBER journal articles, seek feedback as you begin designing your own educational research projects, and form collaborations with participants from other disciplines.
Retirement open house: Rob Bowers
Rob Bowers, director of emergency management and accreditation in the department of public safety, is retiring from the university on Sept. 9. A short program will begin at 2 p.m.
Performance: Society of Broken Souls
Society of Broken Souls, is a Folk Noir songwriting duo of multi-instrumentalists Dennis James and Lauryn Shapter. Part of the Goldfinch Room on the Lawn concert series. Face coverings encouraged; bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Outside food and nonalcoholic beverages are allowed. A cash bar and food truck will be available on site.
