Recent research completed at the Museums of Modern Art and the Smithsonian Institution's Archives for American Art shed new light on Petersen's sculpture.

Argentine Tango Drop-In Lessons

Cyclone Cinema: DC League of Super-Pets
Cyclone Cinema is presented by the Student Union Board and showcases a variety of film genres, screening a different movie every weekend Thursday - Sunday during the semester. Sunday film screenings are in open caption format. All other screenings can be open caption as well, as long as the request is made to the staff prior to the movie starting.

STOMP appeals to audiences of all ages. The international percussion sensation has garnered an armful of awards and rave reviews and has appeared on numerous national television shows. The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments - such as matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and hubcaps - to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.

Remember the Maine! The Spanish-American War 125 Years Later
The most renowned explosion in U.S. history took place on 15 February 1898 when USS Maine blew up in Havana harbor, killing 260 American servicemen. An official U.S. Navy investigation concluded that the explosion was the product of an underwater mine, and within weeks the United States and Spain were at war. February marks the 125th anniversary of this seminal historical event.
