Piano soloist Alon Goldstein's extensive international career has ranged from concerto performances under Zubin Mehta in his native Israel to Mozart's Triple Concerto with the Chicago Symphony and his mentor, Leon Fleisher, and Katherine Jacobson Fleisher. The event features one-of-a-kind gifts from our campus community of artists that are perfect for the holidays. The Memorial Union is located at 2229 Lincoln Way on the Iowa State campus, and hourly parking is available in the ramp on the east side of the building.

Science and Engineering Research on Clean Energy
Iver Anderson senior metallurgist at Ames Laboratory and adjunct professor in the Materials Science and Engineering department at Iowa State University. He is a fellow of the American Powder Metallurgy Institute, ASM International, TMS, and the National Academy of Inventors, as well as a member of the National Inventors Hall of Fame.

Physical Activity Is an Underused Resource for COVID-19 Pandemic
James F. Sallis, Ph.D is Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health at University of California San Diego and Professorial Fellow at Australian Catholic University, Melbourne. He is currently focusing on getting research used to create healthier cities. During the pandemic he has been actively advocating for greater attention to, and application of, physical activity’s benefits.

Cyclone Cinema is presented by the Student Union Board and showcases a variety of film genres, screening a different movie every weekend Thursday - Sunday during the semester. Sunday film screenings are in open caption format. All other screenings can be open caption as well, as long as the request is made to the staff prior to the movie starting.

Forestry Club: Christmas Tree and Wreath Sale
Select from Korean, Balsam and Canaan firs and white pine trees, priced by tree height. Sale continues Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and Dec. 9-11.
