Argentine Tango Drop-In Lessons
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. Classes meet every Sunday and drop-ins are welcome. Purchase a dance punch card and attend as often as your schedule allows. Open to ages 18+.
Malaysian Cultural Night 2023
Join the Ames Student Association for Malaysians as they celebrate and share their culture. Activities include live performances, a stage play highlighting Malaysia's vibrant traditions and customs, an exhibition displaying the country's history and heritage, and authentic Malaysian cuisine served after the performances.

Cyclone Cinema is presented by the Student Union Board and showcases a variety of film genres, screening a different movie every weekend Thursday - Sunday during the semester. Sunday film screenings are in open caption format. All other screenings can be open caption as well, as long as the request is made to the staff prior to the movie starting.

Workshop: Does Instructor Presence in Online Lectures Enhance Student Engagement?

Chan, professor of Psychology at Iowa State University, and Dahwi Ahn, Ph.D. Candidate of Psychology at Iowa State University as they share tips from their recent research into the effect of the presence or absence of an instructor's face on students' engagement and learning in online lectures.

Rovers at Reiman
Are you having a ruff day? Dog-gone it! Come have a ball at Reiman Gardens with your canine best friend! It's our first annual Rovers at Reiman event! Every Tuesday in April from 4:30-7:30, visitors to Reiman Gardens are welcome to bring their dogs for a walk on our beautiful grounds. Bring your family and furry friends for a fun, casual, new experience and watch our grounds turn greener throughout the month.

Help the state of Iowa understand barriers to the digital aspects of Iowa life. Attendees can expect a short presentation followed by discussion with the audience.

Little Orphan Annie has reminded generations of theatergoers that sunshine is always right around the corner, and now the best-loved musical of all time is set to return in a new production, just as you remember it and just when we need it most. Annie, directed by Jenn Thompson, features the iconic book and score, written by Tony Award-winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin.

Stash The Trash
Stash the Trash is a volunteer effort that brings students and community members together to help clean up the Ames community. The event is supported by the City of Ames, Iowa State University and Iowa Home Consulting. Volunteers can choose to work alone, with a group of people, or with an organization - and clean-up their neighborhood or favorite outdoor area.
Suicide Awareness Walk
Iowa State's Out of the Darkness campus walk, supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's (AFSP) education and support programs. Hosted by ISU Student Counseling Services. Register online or in person; walk begins at 10 a.m., south of the campanile.
ISU Book Store: Story time
