Hot Club of San Francisco Presents Cinema Vivant, featuring vintage films: There It Is, Charley Bowers (1928) The Mascot, Ladislaw Starewicz (1933)

Join the Hot Club of San Francisco for a celebration
of silent film and the driving gypsy jazz made famous
by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.
Anchored by Paul Mehling and the improvisational
brilliance of violinist Evan Price, Hot Club of San
Francisco will provide live musical accompaniment
for two ground-breaking vintage films and an ample
helping of classic gypsy jazz in Cinema Vivant. Hot
Club of San Francisco's celebration of imagination
and innovation features The Mascot (1933) by
Ladislaw Starewicz, who pioneered stop-action
animation, and the whimsical comedy There It Is
(1928) by Charley Bowers.
