Student representatives of ISU College Republicans, ISU Democrats and the Government of the Student Body planned this event, on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. Scheduled guests include war veterans, ISU students, a local fire chief and VP for student affairs Tom Hill, who will share thoughts on the attacks and their lasting effect. Concludes with a candle-lit vigil and walk.

The ISU and Ames communities are invited to participate. Shuttle service will be offered from the MU ramp and east parking deck, beginning at 7 p.m., for those who need assistance getting to central campus.

A pre-ceremony music/slide show will begin running at 7:30 p.m.
