In an epic collaboration with ISU Music's Opera Studio, youthful desire, forbidden love, and brutal vengeance simmer to an explosion in the diverse melting pot of a 1940s New York City tenement. Soaring operatic arias and duets rub shoulders with jazz and the jitterbug. Part of the Schooltime Matinee Series.

If you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or simply need to step away from your workspace, the Strolls for Well-being at ISU were created to offer you various opportunities on central campus, or to pause wherever you are. Whether you have 30 minutes or 5 minutes, these materials have been designed to be flexible and fit into your schedule.

This session will discuss practical ways to work with subrecipients and collaborators during the proposal preparation and submission process, as well as dive deeper into budget templates and special circumstances for budgets.
Fall workshop: Term Faculty Advancement and Community
This event includes a presentation by associate provost for faculty Dawn Bratsch-Prince and Sara Marcketti, director of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) and Morrill Professor in the apparel, events and hospitality management department. Lecture: What Race Is, What It Is Not, and Why It Matters
"Race" as we use it is not a biological category. Nor is there a "natural" explanation for why race relations are often difficult, but there are lots of interesting social, political, psychological, and historical ones. Agustin Fuentes is a Professor of Anthropology at Princeton University researching human evolution, multispecies anthropology, and structures of race and racism.
Performance: Tribute to Sousa
The ISU Wind Ensemble, conducted by Michael Golemo, pays tribute to John Philip Sousa and the 101st anniversary of Sousa Band's performance in State Gym.
SUB Comedy Night: Becky Robinson
Becky Robinson is an LGBTQ+ LA-based comedian, writer, actor and voice-over star. The award-winning comedian has done numerous voiceover jobs with DreamWorks, Nickelodeon, and Netflix, was on MTV's Wild 'N Out with Nick Cannon, and currently voices "Parker J. Cloud," an exuberant former rain cloud on a mission to brighten up everyone's day, in Nickelodeon's all-new animated series Middlemost Post.

Panel: Military Affiliated Students in the Classroom
"Supporting Those Who Serve: Military Affiliated Students in the Classroom." There are currently 675 military veterans, Reservists, and National Guard members enrolled at ISU. Please join us in learning more about supporting our military-affiliated students in the classroom.
