Vice president for research and economic development Sharron Quisenberry and associate vice president for business and finance Pam Cain would like to hear from research faculty and staff on: how effective are the services offered by Quisenberry's office, what shortfalls exist and what is needed to build an infrastructure that can manage Iowa State's growing research enterprise.
Friday Talks: Jelena Bogdanovich, Architecture
Friday Talks are presentations of research and creative work by new faculty in the College of Design. Jelena Bogdanovich, assistant professor of architecture, will present "Byzantine-Modernist Concepts of Space in Central and East European Avant-Garde Architecture: Goetheanum and Zeniteum."

Free public reception for Roma Estate MMXII, an exhibition of work by community and regional planning and landscape architecture students who studied in Italy with the College of Design Rome Program. Enjoy Italian food and the show in the gallery!
Planetarium Show
Are you curious about space? Do you wonder about what you can see in the night sky? If so, bring your questions and come to the ISU Planetarium to learn more. Shows are at 7 pm and 7:30 pm and are suitable for all ages. Weather permitting a star-gazing session will be held after dark. Free tickets for the shows will be available at the door starting at 6:45 pm. Seating is limited.

SUB Music: Sidewalk Chalk
Chicago based hip-hop group, Sidewalk Chalk formed in 2008. The group has been praised for their unique blend of hip-hop and jazz. They received "Best Hip-Hop Act in Chicago" in 2010 by the Chicago Reader and released their first full-length album, entitled Corner Store in March of 2012. They're currently working to achieve their goal of being heard by the world and becoming an inspiration for its inhabitants - help them out by coming!
