Yarn Dyeing
Learn the basics of acid dyeing your own yarn for knitting, crocheting or weaving projects! Participants will be able to choose two skeins of lace (880 yards), fingering (sock) (462 yards), or worsted weight yarn (220 yards). Students can dye both skeins the same for a larger project or dye two unique skeins. Additional yarn will be available for purchase at the time of the class.
Storytime with Chuck
Bring the entire family to the Brunnier Art Museum to hear the exciting tale of Lulu's Magic Wand read by author and illustrator Chuck Richards. Following storytime, children will be invited to complete a scavenger hunt for works of art in the museum.
Argentine Tango Practica
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4- 5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5 - 7pm the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.
