Research Workshop: Submission software training
The Office for Responsible Research will transition to a new electronic system for submission, review, and maintenance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) applications. The a-tune tick@lab system will go live in early 2018, integrating research, teaching and testing protocols, animal procurement and management, as well as veterinary medical records.
Training: Digital Accessibility
"Testing Your Website for Accessibility." To ensure all the content in your website is accessible to as many users as possible, you should test using both automatic tools and manual testing. In this workshop, we'll take you through a three-step accessibility test method that includes a testing tool and manual testing with the tab key and a screen reader.

"Human Research Basics Series: Protecting Human Subjects." This four-part series looks more closely at the various components of the IRB submission process. In this session, you will learn about risk in human subjects research, approaches for minimizing risk, participant confidentiality, and data security measures.
Workshop: Groups and Collaborative Work in Canvas
Instructors can create groups for students to collaborate on group Assignments and Discussions, use Web-conferencing, and Collaborations for online projects. Participants will reflect on demonstrations exemplifying how active learning, collaboration and cooperation can be supported through Canvas' integrated tools.
