Research Workshop: Submission software training
The Office for Responsible Research will transition to a new electronic system for submission, review, and maintenance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) applications. The a-tune tick@lab system will go live in early 2018, integrating research, teaching and testing protocols, animal procurement and management, as well as veterinary medical records.

Participants will learn to create and manage Assignments and Assignment Groups as well as explore how the Gradebook is connected to the organization of Assignments. Participants will experience the power of SpeedGrader for efficient and effective grading.

Grab your lunch and join the Office of the Vice President for Research for a discussion of the Presidential Interdisciplinary Research Initiative (PIRI). VPR leaders will give an overview of this internal funding program, and information and tips on how to apply. Preproposals are due Jan. 31.
