Latino Heritage Month Button Making
Celebrate the long and important presence of Hispanic and Latino Americans in north America during Latino Heritage Month stop by during open hours September 23 - October 13 to make a button or magnet. Designs feature inspirational quotes and iconic images that celebrate achievements by Latino Americans.
Wheel Pottery Class
Students will be guided through all aspects of forming bowls, mugs, vases and more on the pottery wheel. Learn hand-pulling, glazing and finishing techniques. Open to absolute beginners as well as those with experience who would like to improve their technique and abilities.
The Second Vatican Council and Pope John XXIII's Commitment to Religious Unity
Anne Clifford, the Msgr. Fall Leadership Conference
As a part of this conference, each participant chose a track that best represented their current leadership comfort and covered topics they were most interested in learning more about. These tracks provided information to students at all stages at ISU and in their development. Participants had the opportunity to hear from a keynote speaker, peers, faculty and staff, and more, and engage in activities to enhance leadership skills.

Woodshop Orientation Class
For the beginner who wants to learn the fundamentals of woodworking equipment. Proper usage of the machinery will be covered, as well as woodshop safety. This class is required in order to use the woodshop on your own.

Paint Your Own Pottery: Monsters and Gnomes
Join us for a fun exploration of techniques in "painting" bisque. Pick a figurine to decorate or draw your own creation on a piece of pottery you choose. We will have samples for inspiration but your own ideas are always welcome too. Studio fee is $4 for ISU and $5 for public to attend plus the cost of the bisque you select.

Xtra Moves: Free swing dance lesson, hosted by the ISU Ballroom Dance Club. Includes both beginning and more advanced steps, taught by Los Angeles swing instructor Steve Grody. No partner required.

ISU AfterDark will feature Nev Schulman, star of MTV's Catfish, Mayhem Poets, and artist Aaron Carter in The M-Shop! Other activities will include: -Ice Cream Sundae Bar -Bingo -Karaoke -Bowling and Billiards -Cyclone Suncathers -Greene Screen Photos -ISU Food Design Contest ISU AfterDark is a studeent group that plans late night events throughout the semester. 11th Annual Stuff the Bus event. All monetary donations will be distributed to the Mid-Iowa Community Action resource center and Food at First. These contributions benefit needy families in the Story County area.
