Drop Deadline: second half-semester courses
Last day to drop a second half-semester course without the drop appearing on the permanent record or counting toward the limit of dropped courses.
Pass/Not Pass: second half-semester courses
Last day to change a second half-semester course from Pass/Not Pass to grade basis without it counting toward total allowable P/NP credits used for graduation.
Schedule Changes: second half-semester courses
Last day to process most schedule changes in a second half-semester course without a schedule change fee or to add/drop a second half-semester course without signatures of instructor and adviser. See the tuition adjustment schedule for financial deadlines.
Book fair
Student members of the Human Development and Family Studies club will sell Scholastic books appropriate for preschool and kindergarten-age children. Fair began on Oct. 21.
Reiman Entrepreneurial Forum
Don Schoen and Justin Schoen, a father-son duo, will talk about their entrepreneurial efforts. Don is the co-founder and former CEO of software vendor MediNotes, West Des Moines (now Eclipsys); Justin is president of eComegy, a new digital marketing company, Des Moines. The public is welcome.
Stuff The Bus Food Drive
Help stuff a CyRide bus full of nonperishable food donations for Mid-Iowa Community Action (MICA) to benefit needy families in the area. Donations are accepted at the five Ames grocery stores.
