Kia-Hui Tan has performed as concerto soloist, recitalist and chamber musician in 25 US states and 20 countries on five continents, including at London's Barbican Hall and New York's CarnegieWeill Recital Hall.Mei-Hsuan Huang has joined the music faculty at Iowa State and is the pianist in the new Amara Piano Quartet.

Seed Science Center symposium opening celebration
A celebration to honor the career of Leroy Everson, Former director of the ISU seed laboartory. Former colleagues and students, as well as faculty and staff who served under Everson, are invited to attend this free event during which speakers will highlight Everson's career as well as his contributions to Iowa State and the seed industry. Seed and Biosafety Symposium
"Seeding the Future: Emerging Policy and Science." The symposium will address important issues that face the seed industry and those that depend upon it for their livelihoods. It will examine the changes in the seed industry in the last 30 years. Register by April 12.
