Pastel combines the convenience of a dry medium with the brilliant color of paint. If you are used to painting in wet mediums like oils and acrylics then you should give pastels a try. During our 5 weeks of study we will experiment with the unique qualities of this versatile medium while working with representational forms such as still life and landscape. Students will share supplies. This is an intermediate class and previous drawing experience is required.
