The drawing medium of charcoal is probably the most ancient--it was first used as ashes from fire on cave walls many thousands of years ago. Meets Thursdays from 6 - 8pm for 4 weeks.

It is a very expressive and versatile medium that produces rich, dark lines. In this class we will study the technical aspects of the medium as well as value and form. Some drawing experience is helpful for this class.
