Manatt Phelps Lecture: Kazuhide Ishikawa
Kazuhide Ishikawa is Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Japan in Washington DC. He is a career diplomat who has served for more than thirty years in Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including positions with the Economic Affairs Bureau and Foreign Policy Bureau. Kazuhide Ishikawa will be speaking in place of Ichiro Fujisaki, who will be unable to deliver the lecture as previously announced.

University Museums grows a little spookier this October for its annual Haunted Iowa State event. Explore campus locations with a haunted and historic reputation, and investigate Iowa State's past at "sites of fright" that include the Campanile, ISU campus cemetery, the Memorial Union, Farm House Museum, and others. William K. Deal Endowed Leadership Lecture
Neil Harl, emeritus professor of economics at Iowa State, is a recognized expert in farm finance, agricultural law, estate planning and business planning. As the founder and director of the Center for International Agricultural Finance he is often credited with helping lay the foundation for Eastern European countries transitioning to a market economy.
